Flowing River is a gathering place and a safe haven where people can meet with the Lord, worship Him, and truly grow as disciples.
We strive to be biblically consistent, culturally relevant, spiritually powerful and empowering, welcoming, and loving.
We want to treat people the way Jesus treated them.
We want to do church and be the church in the way the Lord wants us to do and be.
Church is, by definition, the Body of Christ. Therefore, the “church” is necessarily made up of people who know and love Him. However, Jesus never said that only people who already believe can hear His message. He did not turn away people with questions (such as Thomas, who doubted the resurrection), or even people who have denied Him (like Peter).
Ken and Kathi used to be folks like that, and so they honor both question and questioner. We’re going to be having informal get-togethers where people with questions can ask, discuss, and get answers in a safe environment. Visit our Got Questions? page for more information.
